Key responsibilities

Account aggregator will act as a custodian of a user's consent, providing services based on explicit consent of customer for a fee or otherwise.

Account aggregator presents a valid consent artefact of a customer to fetch data from Financial Information Providers (FIPs).

Account aggregator shall share the data to any other Financial Information Users (FIUs) in accordance with the terms of the consent provided by the customer.

Account aggregator shall not undertake any other business other than the business of account aggregation.

The Account aggregator will be data blind - i.e. it will not have any access to a customer's core data. It will simply transport the data from the data providers (for e.g. banks) to data consumers (for e.g. lending companies).

The Account aggregator will not access or store user credentials relating to accounts with various financial information providers.
